Some days the sleepiness is just too strong to fight. You try to stay up, try to keep going, but it’s not happening. The eyes are heavy, the energy is gone, and everything starts slowing down. At a certain point, you just have to give in and accept it. Nothing’s getting done until there’s been a proper nap.

Sometimes the sleep deprivation is fully your own doing. You said “one more scroll,” and suddenly it’s way later than it should be. It felt worth it at the time, and honestly, it kind of was. Now you’re a little slower, a little sleepier, but you’ll recover. A good nap fixes everything, and until then, you’re just taking it one yawn at a time.

Nothing worse than being so close to falling asleep and somehow ruining it yourself. You’re finally comfortable, eyes closing, everything lined up perfectly, and then you move, think, or check one thing and it’s gone. Now you’re wide awake again for no reason. That perfect sleepy moment just disappears, and you’re left trying to get it back like it didn’t just vanish out of nowhere.
